The goal of REACH is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in responsible data-informed approaches in the field of research administration. REACH builds on existing empirical research and communities of practice and will expand the understanding of how we utilize data-informed approaches to build research support workforce efficiency, research strategy, and research capacity.

As explained by Baron Wolf in the article, “REACH will serve as a national platform to empower institutions to build smarter, more strategic research enterprises... We are creating a hub where institutions can learn from one another, develop shared standards and drive progress in how we evaluate and support research. REACH is about building community as much as capacity."
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) plays a key role in guiding the REACH project by offering insights into the evolving needs and priorities of the research analytics community. Its contributions help ensure that community perspectives are reflected in project decisions and that REACH remains aligned with current trends in higher education research.
The CAB is composed of professionals across the research analytics and administration community, and members represent a range of institutions, regions (including international), and expertise. The board is co-led by a Steering Committee liaison and four regional co-chairs (northern, southern, central/western, and international), with up to 15 active participants. The CAB Co-Chairs include:
